Ideal for couples planning an intimate ceremony, this smaller space offers a personal touch. While it’s more restrained, it’s perfect for those who want a quiet, meaningful moment with their closest loved ones.
How Much Does It Cost to Get Married at Sale Town Hall?
Sale Town Hall’s wedding fees vary depending on the day and time of your ceremony, your ceremony fee includes one certificate:
£200 — Monday to Thursday
£285 — Friday & Saturday mornings
£380 — Saturday afternoons
These prices are set by Trafford Council and are subject to change at any time (as well as reviewed annually). Always confirm directly with the registry office for up-to-date costs.

Yes, confetti is allowed on the steps outside Sale Town Hall. Just be sure to wait until you’re fully outside before throwing it!
Is there parking at Sale Town Hall?
The town hall will provide a parking permit for wedding cars directly outside the Town Hall. There is ample parking around Sale for guests including Q-PARK or Stanley Square multi-storey car parks located a few minutes walk from the town hall. Alternatively there is ample on-road pay and display parking operated by Trafford Council on the streets around the town hall.
Does Sale Town Hall have any public transport links?
Yes, Sale Town Hall is well served by both Tram and Bus. The ‘Sale’ Metrolink station is located opposite Sale Town Hall, latest tram travel updates can be found HERE. When should I arrive for a Sale Town Hall wedding?
When you book your wedding date at Sale Town Hall they will advise you of an arrival time. In my experience, this is typically no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your ceremony start time. If you, or your guests, want to arrive earlier, SUP Bar & Coffee House is attached to the town hall and is a great place to wait. Quite often, arriving earlier may mean that another ceremony will be taking place within the town hall and the doors may even be locked before the arrival time advised.
