Mia & Bec’s Beautiful Wedding at Beeston Manor, Preston

On a warm August day, Mia and Bec celebrated their stunning wedding at the idyllic Beeston Manor in Preston, where laughter, heartfelt emotion and joy filled every corner of the venue. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, and with exclusive use of the space, their day was full of love, personal touches and unforgettable moments.

As a wedding photographer, nothing makes me happier than capturing love stories as genuine and full of personality as Mia and Bec’s. Their day overflowed with real heartfelt, emotional moments, making it an even greater privilege to be part of.

A Tale of Two Brides
The couple had spent the night before the wedding at the venue, enjoying some relaxed time with family ahead of the big day. With exclusive use of Beeston Manor, they had the space to breathe, prepare, and soak in the excitement of what was to come.

On the morning of the wedding, the logistics were carefully coordinated to make sure Mia and Bec didn’t see one another once they were in their wedding attire, a moment they both wanted to save until they met at the end of the aisle. First looks with parents, bridesmaids, and flower girls were emotional and tender. There really wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
Bec was helped throughout the morning by Emily before sharing her first look moments with mum Emma, followed shortly afterwards with a reveal for bridesmaids and flower girls, then onto a joyful first look with her dads Paul and Kelly.

Meanwhile Mia’s mum Rebecca (the original Bec as she later jokingly mentioned!) and bridemaid Molly had helped Mia get ready before dad Paul had a beautiful moment seeing his daughter in her fabulous dress for the first time.
Shortly afterwards bridemaids and flower girls were ably guided into the room, with eyes closed, for Mia's reveal, a moment which brought whoops of joy and tears of happiness to the packed out room.

The Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony room at Beeston Manor was filled with guests full of love and anticipation. Bec was the first to walk down the aisle, accompanied by proud dad’s, Paul and Kelly.
Mia followed, making her entrance with her dad, Paul.
Both brides radiated elegance and individuality, Mia in a modern white dress complete with veil and soft bow detailing, holding a bouquet of pastel summer blooms; Bec in a light grey blazer and waistcoat with navy trousers and a perfectly styled buttonhole.

Each bride carried subtle personal trinkets woven into their attire, a nod to their journey, their families, their pets and each other. One particularly touching detail was a pair of custom cufflinks gifted by Mia to Bec on the morning of the wedding.

Confetti, Cocktails & Canapés
Following the ceremony, guests gathered outside in the gardens to greet the newlyweds with a confetti guard of honour. Whilst it was a slightly overcast day, it was an ideal temperature and the joy on everyone’s faces more than made up for the lack of blue skies. After a big group portrait with all their loved ones, a relaxed reception with canapés, cocktails, champagne and beers was announced and the couple finally had a moment to breathe, say hello to everybody and soak in the atmosphere.

Seven Speeches. Countless Emotions.
In one of the most memorable parts of the day, seven speeches took place before the wedding breakfast, a testament to how deeply loved Mia and Bec are. Each speech brought something unique: from humour to heartfelt tears, joyful memories to emotional stories. It was an extraordinary celebration of their lives, their bond, the people who have been part of their journey and the love and esteem in which they’re held.

Let Them Eat Cake (With a Cheeky Pup or Two)
The wedding cake itself was a real showstopper. A beautiful floral design from base to top, with a fun twist: two little fondant dogs playfully biting into the cake, a loving tribute to the couple’s much-missed pups who couldn’t be there on the day. Before the cake was cut, the couple made a speech to the now packed out room, sharing their journey of the past 12 months leading up to this day. Another moment filled with tears of joy and smiles of happiness from everyone.

Dancing Into the Night
As evening fell, Mia and Bec took to the dance floor for their first dance, a magical moment accompanied by live music from a talented singer-guitarist, who then got the party in full swing.

From My Family To Yours
Mia and Bec’s wedding was jam packed full of emotion, laughter, individuality, love and friendship. The kind of wedding that stays with you long after carriages have been called. It was a real pleasure to be in attendance and I can’t wait to start going through all the images from the day and getting them ready to tell this amazing love story for years to come. In the meantime Bec and Mia, from my family to yours, we wish you all the love and luck in the world as the new Mrs & Mrs Winrow.
